Kim Hawley is dedicated to serving pregnant, postpartum and adoptive parents, plus their support systems, in Kansas and Missouri and beyond. She believes every family deserves support throughout the perinatal years, no matter their circumstances. She specializes in support for individuals and couples trying to conceive, experiencing perinatal depression, anxiety and OCD, loss of any kind (including miscarriage, stillbirth, and termination), preeclampsia and traumatic birth stories, NICU stays, and parenting babies with medical complexity.
Kim is the founder and president of Whole Parent Foundation, a Kansas City-based nonprofit dedicated to providing free mental health support for all parents. She serves as the Postpartum Support International (PSI) State Lead Coordinator for Missouri and as a national specialized coordinator for Preeclampsia and Long-term Health Conditions. Kim is on the core team of the Missouri Maternal-Child Learning and Action Network, helping to create statewide improvement in maternal and infant health. She is a recent Nonprofit State Policy Fellow with the Policy Center for Maternal Mental Health.
Kim is a Licensed Master Social Worker pursuing clinical licensure under the supervision of Meeka Centimano (KS Lic. #3830). She received a certificate of completion from Postpartum Support International in support group facilitation, Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), and perinatal mental health care. She recently completed an advanced training on perinatal OCD through The Postpartum Stress Center.
